With every new Call of Duty release each year comes an enhancement visual, effects and gameplay. Sledgehammer games claim Advanced Warfare has been built on a brand new engine. Since Call of Duty 2 all the way up to Ghosts the game has been built on the same engine known as the “IW Engine”. Although previous games have seen improvements and changes from the same engine this time we can expect something very different all together. Sledgehammer have had a 3 year cycle to concentrate on Advanced Warfare compared to the usual 2 years. Also Advanced Warfare is the first Call of Duty to be built with the Next-Gen consoles in-mind instead of making a slight improvement on Current-Gen capacity, Advanced Warfare will be utilising far more of the Next-Gen consoles potential.
What does this mean?
We can expect a bigger jump in terms of visuals and gameplay for Advanced Warfare with new features unknown to previous Call of Duty games. More details on the gameplay to come.1 of 1
